Team Foster is a non-profit striving to get a service dog to every military veteran who needs one. Service dogs are shown to make a big difference for veterans suffering from PTSD and other complications from the veteran’s service. Team Foster engaged Miller Designworks because their old site was clunky and just not working well. MDW’s first project was to scrub and speed up their old WordPress site. That bought some time to keep Team Foster functioning while they and MDW moved on to the next phase.

The next project was to completely redesign the Team Foster website to fit their growing needs, with a current look and feel. MDW was tasked with building Team Foster a modern, attractive and functional mobile-friendly website that their mostly volunteer staff could maintain. MDW created a collection of modern WordPress blocks they could use interchangeably throughout the site to build new pages, or to rearrange existing pages, but still create a consistent look and feel to the content. The site also has a custom events menu that automatically removes past events from the menu to keep things current.

MDW is honored to be a partner to this great organization. We are still engaged in the upkeep of the website, continuing to enhance and improve functionality as Team Foster grows and expands to offer more events, increase its online footprint, and delivers on its mission that there is “No Hero Left Behind”.
