Freedom Credit Union (FCU) came to Miller Designworks to help create a brand awareness campaign to coincide with their 75th anniversary. The challenge was that even though they had been in business locally for so long, many people in the area had never heard of the community credit union. MDW developed an integrated marketing plan that covered everything from advertising to direct response to social media. MDW has also begun implementing tactical projects including a 75th anniversary logo and tag line, direct mail postcards, an internal incentive campaign, and a new series of TV commercial spots. The television campaign, “I choose Freedom” utilizes customer testimonials to tell FCU’s message of better rates, lower fees and more convenience, all in the customers own words. Additional material shot at the same time will be re-edited and repurposed into educational material and “case studies” that will be available via their web site, other web channels and Video on Demand.
