CCRES had outgrown its original website and needed a new site to promote the non-profit and attract new hires for its various teaching positions. MDW was engaged to reorganize its content and retarget its message to its key user groups. The redesign is “people-first” oriented. Bright, colorful, fun, and easy to use, the new site focused on reinforcing the CCRES mission to be “Making a Difference Every Day”.
The new site uses bold type, subtle animation and candid photography to coomunicate the impact the organization is making. There is also a #ThankfulThursday photo and profile slider spotlighting the staff member of the week, all maintained by in-house non-technical staff. Resources, such as grant applications and guidelines, are also easily managed through the site functionalty by CCRES staff. This is definitely a site that delivers form and function in a bold, fun package.
